Accreditation

Mojave Christian University operates as a faith-based school dedicated to Christian theological education and ministry preparation. Its academic programs are designed primarily for religious instruction, spiritual formation and leadership development within the Christian service contexts. 

The school functions independently and is not accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Instead, its educational model reflects historic Christian training practices and operates under religious exemption provisions applicable to faith-based institutions.

Degrees, certificate and credentials awarded by (MCU) are religious in nature and are intended for use in ministry, church leadership, personal enrichment and Christian service. These credentials are not designed to be transferable to secular colleges or universities, nor are they represented as secular academic qualifications.

Mojave Christian University may participate in voluntary associations, networks, or fellowships of like-minded Christian schools for purposes of accountability, cooperation and shared educational standards. Such affiliations are religious and professional in scope and do not constitute governmental or secular accreditation.

Students are encouraged to prayerfully consider their educational goals and understand the distinct purpose and religious nature of Mojave Christian University's programs before enrollment.
